Question of the Day: CrossFit and Calories

This is just for the fellow CrossFitters out there - at what range do you prefer to keep your daily calorie intake?

Disclaimer: This isn’t for advice. I’m just curious to know what people’s preferences are when doing such an extreme workout whether they are trying to lose or maintain weight.

  1. fitnessfreeak answered: I don’t count calories. I used to religiously way back when and I just remember the macros of certain foods and just limit food to paleo.
  2. welovelofts said: I’m 5 8, 206 pounds, and I don’t count calories. I’m 90% strict paleo 6 days a week and eat everything in sight Sunday’s. I’ve lost a total of 25 pounds in 6 months at CrossFit. I didn’t lose a pound for the first two month.
  3. difficultisworthdoing answered: I’m trying to lose weight and usually average 1400 but on CrossFit days I average 1600 (F, 38, 5’7”, need to lose 30lbs)
